RAD48

RAD48 is a 48-hour Radford Athletics fundraising effort that will support all of Radford University’s Division I programs. In addition, donors will have the opportunity to support the Cheer & Dance program, the Strength & Conditioning program, the Sports Medicine program, as funds that impact all of Radford Athletics.  In light of the ever-changing NCAA landscape, for the next 48 hours we will look to our alumni, donors, friends and colleagues to assist us in any way possible in our annual giving initiative to ensure our student-athletes have the best experience and most opportunities possible.

Anyone can support Radford Athletics by making a gift. Alumni, parents, fans, students (both undergraduate and graduate), faculty and staff are encouraged to participate.

All gifts made during RAD48 are considered a donation to Radford University Athletics. Please contact your financial advisor regarding the tax deductibility of your gift. Your gift will be acknowledged with an e-mail receipt for your tax records.

As we navigate the ever-changing landscape of college athletics funding, it is still a priority to support our student-athletes as they continue their education and pursue their undergraduate or graduate degrees. The operating and scholarship budgets for Radford Athletics, as well as the funds for individual sports have had to continually flex and adjust to an ever-evolving environment. We appreciate any contributions to help us support our student-athletes and give them the experience they deserve.

One hundred percent of all donations are directed to the fund you choose. All funds are held by the Radford University Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is operated exclusively for raising, investing and administering private donations for the benefit of Radford University. Please consult your tax adviser to determine the tax-deductibility of your gift.

When making a gift and filling out your billing information in our secure portal, under “Donor Wall Settings,” you may control whether to display your name, donation amount, neither or both.

Matching gift programs can lead to your gift amount being doubled or even tripled - however they often vary by employer - both in eligibility and in the amount of the match. Therefore, it is worth checking. See if your employer participates at this link.
