The Graduate College General Fund
Radford University's Graduate College supports students across disciplines and programs with a keen focus on research and experiential learning. The Graduate College General Fund supports the success of graduate students with limited financial resources. This funding allows them to take full advantage of opportunities to explore deeper within their field of study by conducting cutting-edge research, working closely with our outstanding faculty, sharing their work with peers at conferences and experiencing different cultures with meaningful educational travel. Your generous gift today opens doors to the complete, first-class, graduate educational experience at Radford University.
"Thanks to private funding, I was able to attend the National Association of School Psychologists convention of 2022 in Boston, Massachusetts. This funding provided me with the opportunity to travel and connect with professionals around the world that have been practicing school psychology. I was able to learn about new research that is upcoming in the field, participate in a mini skills lab on different counseling and intervention techniques, as well as talk to recruiting counties from Virginia, Florida, Tennessee, and Colorado. This opportunity enhanced my education because I gained professional connections, increased my knowledge of the field, and learned new techniques. This experience has improved my knowledge and skills and allowed me to consult with my peers and mentors about upcoming research." - Katelynn Chase - Graduate student, School Psychology

Radford University Libraries
Our graduate students commute to campus for classes and often make a second home within our libraries. The Radford University Libraries support our students’ learning and research. It is essential for our libraries to be responsive to student needs such as resources for coursework, licenses to support up-to-date learning tools, cutting edge medical tools, online simulation activities, as well as study spaces that accommodate each students' unique study needs. Financial support will position our libraries as vital destinations for our students to maximize their learning experiences at each of Radford University's campuses.
We also aim for the Library to be a warm and welcoming space. We offer students a place to simply "be". Our libraries often serve as a home base for students as they study, meet with friends, and prepare for their coming days. One unique aspect of McConnell Library has been a space where donated personal care and household items have been made available for students to discreetly access. One goal we have is to further expand that space in McConnell and make a similar space available to our RUC student patrons.
With this in mind, we appreciate the support of benefactors who understand how important a world-class library is to the success of our students.
