The Student Veterans Organization at Radford University is a chapter of the national Student Veterans of America, SVA. The organization’s mission is “To provide military veterans with the resources, support, and advocacy needed to succeed in higher education and following graduation.”
The goals of the Radford University chapter of the Student Veterans Organization are to:
- Provide a social group to help veterans and their families adjust to academia
- Promote Radford University spirit while maintaining a veteran fellowship
- Provide valuable information to veterans
- Assist with veteran integration on campus

The SVA National Conference (NatCon) is the largest gathering of student veterans anywhere in the world. NatCon serves as a focal point in the academic year to share ideas, best practices, and network with student veterans, military-connected students, their families, supporters, and allies, as well as corporate, government, and nonprofit partners, and more! This year the conference will be held in Nashville, TN.
