The Radford Men's Tennis team, led by Head Coach Rob Bareford, has a rich tradition at Radford University. After an abrupt cancellation to the 2020 season due to the pandemic, the team is eager to kick-off 2021, return to the Big South Tournament Championship and secure a spot in post-season play.
RECENT ACCOLADES
- In 2019, the Highlanders won three straight matches in the Big South Tournament to capture the Big South Championship, upsetting both the number one and number two seeds in the tournament.
- In the fall of 2019, Yevhen Sirous and Rodrigo Magalhaes took down the 20th ranked doubles team in the nation at the ITA All-American Championships.
- The program got off to a 10-1 start in 2020 before the season was cancelled, picking up key victories against UNC Greensboro, Davidson, and George Mason.
- For the 2021 spring season the program was picked near-unanimously to finish first in the conference.
