The Radford Women's Tennis team, led by Head Coach Rob Bareford, has a rich tradition at Radford University. After an abrupt cancellation to the 2020 season due to the pandemic, the team is eager to kick-off 2021, return to the Big South Tournament Championship and secure a spot in post-season play.
RECENT ACCOLADES
- In 2019, the Highlanders came up just short in claiming the Big South crown falling in the championship game against the top seed Winthrop.
- In that same 2019 season, Anastasia Belyaeva was selected to First Team All-Conference Singles while Drousile Dzeubou and Malin Falk were tabbed to the Second Team All -Conference singles.
- Before the cancellation of the 2020 spring season, the women sprinted out to a 9-3 start with key victories over Longwood, George Mason, and Western Illinois.
- The Highlanders were an ITA All-Academic team in both 2017 and 2018, with Jeanine Acierto, Tyler Blalock, Lotti Meszaros, and Natalie Sayer all being tabbed as ITA Scholar-Athletes in 2018.
