Your support of the operational budget will help us replace our home plate padding. You will also help us provide a top-notch travel experience for our students that enhances transportation and accommodations. In addition, operational funds support up-to-date gear that helps our athletes represent the Highlander spirit near and far while enabling them to perform at the highest levels. RECENT ACCOLADES
- Four Highlanders earned end-of-season awards including Lexie Roberts (first-team, all-academic and Player of the Year), Kari Shedrick (second-team), Abby Wilson (second-team) and Rachel Smith (honorable mention).
- Lexie Roberts became just the fourth player to ever win Big South Player of the Year in program history behind an impressive .413 batting average, 29 stolen bases, 38 runs, 5 triples and 62 total hits.
- Academically, the Highlanders excelled, with a department-best 3.82 cumulative GPA, which led the department. The team’s effort also earned them national recognition, as the NFCA named multiple Highlanders to its academic honor roll list.
