RECENT ACCOLADES
- Dylan Howard became the 23rd Highlander ever to be drafted by the MLB, and the first since 2019. The Highlanders’ pitcher was taken in the 8th round (253 overall) by the Houston Astros.
- Radford alumnus Spencer Horwitz excelled at the MLB level with the Toronto Blue Jays and now has a home with the Pittsburg Pirates.
- The Highlanders posted their best home record since 2021, picking up key series victories over teams such as Le Moyne, LIU, Marist, and USC Upstate.
- Last season, five Highlanders earned end-of-season awards from the Big South, a new high for second-year head coach Alex Guerra. The award winners included Cameron Pittman (second-team), Zack Whitacre (second-team and all-academic), Drew Stanley (second-team), Conner Butler (honorable mention), and Breckin Nace (all-freshman).
